God Friended Me is an American comedy-drama series. It was ordered to series on May 11, 2018, and stars Brandon Micheal Hall, Violett Beane, Javicia Leslie, Suraj Sharma, and Joe Morton. The series premiered on September 30, 2018, on CBS. On October 19, 2018, it was announced that the series had received a full season order from CBS.
The series chronicles the life of Miles (Hall), an outspoken atheist, who is sent a friend request on Facebook by someone calling themselves "God". This account sends Miles suggestions for new friends, people in Miles' hometown of New York City, that will require assistance. Initially skeptic, Miles decides to follow these suggestions to help people. During his first such request, he meets and befriends Cara (Beane), a struggling writer. Together with Cara and his hacker friend Rakesh (Sharma), Miles also tries to find out who is behind the "God" account.
I don’t think it’s the best show in the run. But it is strong enough to hold one down for 45 minutes. The fun fact is that despite the title ‘God Friended Me’ , the lead character is an atheist. Also the show respect the belief of everyone without criticizing it. The show is more centered around love ,hope ,family and friends.
