When it is discovered that an enormous asteroid is just six months away from colliding with Earth, MIT grad student Liam Cole and tech billionaire Darius Tanz team up to save humanity from this impending apocalypse -- without ever alerting the public. As part of the project, Darius recruits an aspiring sci-fi writer, Jillian, to work on a theoretical approach to saving humanity. While they try to save the world their way, the government has its own approach, with Deputy Secretary of Defense Harris Edwards spearheading the top-secret plan to deflect the asteroid.
This is one of the best show in the genre of Sci-Fi. Unlike the regular show, it is not based on out of the earth science theories. To an extent, it is giving sensible explanation to the technological topics that the story is adapting. The lead character, who is presented elegantly by the Santiago, have a close resemblance to Elon Musk. The supporting cast is also contributing to the beauty of the show. Although some irrelevant scenes and characters are there in the show which sometimes feels annoying, it is a real good series to spent some time on. The twist and turns of each episodes, along with the perfect blend of drama, science and humanity, are also interesting and clutches the attention of the viewers.
