Smallfoot is a 2018 American 3D computer-animated musical adventure film produced by the Warner Animation Group. Based on the book Yeti Tracks by Sergio Pablos, the film was co-written and directed by Karey Kirkpatrick, and stars the voices of Channing Tatum, James Corden, Zendaya, Common, LeBron James, Gina Rodriguez, Danny DeVito, Yara Shahidi, Ely Henry, and Jimmy Tatro. The plot follows a group of Yeti who come across a human, with each species thinking the other was just a myth.
Migo is a friendly Yeti whose world gets turned upside down when he discovers something that he didn't know existed -- a human. He soon faces banishment from his snowy home when the rest of the villagers refuse to believe his fantastic tale. Hoping to prove them wrong, Migo embarks on an epic journey to find the mysterious creature that can put him back in good graces with his simple community.
On contrary to looking from the human side, this movie is from a bigfoot perspective. It is one of the best animated movie that I have ever seen . It is trying to teach us that living in fear is better that following a lie. The animation also meet the standards and the voice behind each character feels like they are made for it. The plot is also heart touching and try to draw out some real drawbacks of human actions towards animals. The director is successful in aligning his ideas and messages with the story without obstructing its natural flow. The music in the here is also sinking along with the story which make it a good to watch movie anytime
